Terms of Use
Effective date: [PLACEHOLDER: effective date]
1. Informational purpose
The Site provides general information about Ivy Recovery Group's services for businesses and general guidance for consumers who have received a communication from us. Information on the Site does not create a contract between you and Ivy and does not modify the terms of any account, notice, or agreement you may have with us or with a creditor.
2. No legal or financial advice
Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, or financial advice. Summaries of laws such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act are provided for general understanding only, may not reflect the most recent changes, and may not address your specific circumstances. Consult a licensed attorney or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for advice about your rights.
3. Debt collector disclosure
Ivy Recovery Group is a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Communications sent to us through the Site regarding an account may be added to the account record.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data; interfere with the Site's operation; submit false, misleading, or abusive content through our forms; use automated means to scrape or submit data; or impersonate any person or entity. We may restrict access to the Site for violations of these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, design, graphics, logos, and the Ivy Recovery Group name and shield mark — are owned by Ivy Recovery Group or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, or distribution, requires our prior written permission.
6. Communications and forms
Messages submitted through the Site's contact forms are delivered to support@ivyrecoverygroup.com by email and are not encrypted end to end. Do not submit Social Security numbers, full financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the forms; we will provide a secure method if such information is needed. Submitting a form does not by itself constitute a dispute, cease request, or payment arrangement until we acknowledge it, although we treat the date of receipt as the effective date of consumer requests. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites such as consumerfinance.gov for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ivy Recovery Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or other consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [PLACEHOLDER: governing-law state], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that nothing in this section affects the consumer protection laws of the state in which you reside.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
